FROM Coach K of Anderson High School Men's Lacrosse:

I have talked to Noah about signing the Anderson team up for a Sunday league at Soccer Zone located at 183 and 1431. The players from Westwood, Anderson and Westlake will be split into teams and play games over 7 Sundays. The league starts September 12.

The Anderson coaches have been playing in a Sunday league and it's the most fun I've had playing since I was in college. This is a great way to beat the heat, meet new players, and work on individual skills. I am absolutely all for this Sunday league.

Obviously, this isn't a mandatory thing, but I would like to see our players involved in this.

LAX Field Trip
We've been doing lots of drills and having fun @ Westover the last few weeks.  On July 28th we'll be taking our show on the road to Main Event for some Laser Tag and CATZ Sports for some 3x3 Indoor Lacrosse (click here to get a little taste of why boys LOVE this game).

3:15:  Meet at Main Event on North 183 for Laser Tag & Games (meet in the Laser Tag area)
3:30-4:15: Laser Tag and Games
4:30-6:30: CATZ Sports on North 183 for 3x3 Indoor Lacrosse

  • we'll provide all equipment and experienced coaches

Cost is $10 per player, which covers costs of Laser Tag + $10 video game card + indoor lacrosse @ CATZ.
Those players that have won Laser Tag in our competitions will be given a certificate for a 2nd laser tag session.

It is VERY important to let us know if you plan to come, as we need to pay in advance for Laser Tag as well as to know how much equipment we need. RSVP (click here) Also let us know if any questions.

Noah Fink is putting together a pretty interesting camp beginning of august (see attached) @ soccer zone in cedar park. the cool thing is it will be indoors so no heat issues and lots of scrimmaging. attached should have all the information you need

NWAYLA IS doing a float in the NW Hills 4th of July Parade. if your boys want to be on the float meet us at the parade start (Far West & Waterline) around 8:45 in their spring LAX uniforms w/ sticks (whatever red/white/blue customization you want to do on top of that). we want to show the community that Lacrosse is going strong in NW Hills. hopefully we'll see you there

Also, Aug 2-6th NWAYLA will be offering a skills, drills, and scrimmage at Soccer Zone (indoor).  
 
9-12pm will be for Elementary Players
1-4pm will be for Middle School players
